Known as the “Godmother of TOPSoccer”, Peggy Neason had a dedication and unrelenting approaching in providing players with special needs the game of soccer.

Neason has touched the lives of the overwhelming majority of players and referees in Western Pennsylvania during her longtime affiliation with PA West soccer.

The Monongahela native was the original Region I and PA West TOPSoccer Chairperson. In addition to serving as the region and state chairperson, she also ran the Washington County TOPSoccer program.

In addition to her TOPSoccer efforts, Ms. Neason worked tirelessly as the South District Director before joining the PA West Soccer Executive Board as its Secretary. Ms. Neason was also the State Referee Administrator and served as State Director of Referee Instruction.

Ms. Neason was inducted into the US Youth Soccer Hall of Fame in 2016 and was a recipient of the PA West Soccer Lifetime Achievement Award in January 2018.
