The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Creating Venues and Fields For State Associations
In GotSport, the organization that creates the venue is listed as the owner of the complex. To prevent clubs from dictating access to venues they don’t own or control, it is highly recommended the states create neutral venues and control access. For any venues or fields that are not owned or controlled by an individual club, the venue will need to be created by the state and the state can share the venue with any and all clubs that use the venue. This will only need to be done once, so once the venue is created and shared with the necessary clubs, the venue will never need to be shared with that club again.

To be clear, clubs have been instructed to set up their own venues and fields. We are ONLY asking the states to set them up if they are contacted by a club that uses a complex used by multiple clubs, for example Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Michigan. As always, we have provided you with a walkthrough document to help you through this process.

Update on Scheduling Plans due to COVID-19

We of course have to be very aware of the fluid situation we have in regards to COVID-19. At this time we are still working on our plans to have a full fall season bracketed and scheduled, with the following exceptions. The in person scheduling meeting will be replaced with conference call meetings. Full details on that process will be sent out to all teams after brackets are posted. One important note is that for this fall season we will group all First Divisions as locally as possible, grouping teams from within the same state assn with neighboring states wherever possible. We know that this is still evolving and we do have plans in place to push back scheduling deadlines and create more local bracketing across the board if it gets to that point.

Conference Information on State Association Websites

It has come to our attention that while its great that state association provide the conference information on their website, please notes that many of these documents are subject to change, especially in the current climate. We try to make our conference website as interactive as possible, so I strongly encourage you to direct people to the conference homepage so they get used to seeing our updates that we post.

National Showcase Series Requirement

Teams understand that all 14U-18U teams competing in a top tier (Club vs Club or Premier I) within the USYS National

League Midwest Conference during the 2020-2021 season must attend a minimum of one (1) USYS National League Showcase Series event to retain their position in the top tier (Club vs Club or Premier I) of the 2021-2022 USYS National League Midwest Conference or any other USYS National League Conference. The costs for these events will be $950 for 14U events and $1200 for 15U-19U age groups. This disclaimer is in the application form.

There has also been more information provided on the playoffs that will take place within the Showcase events. Some of this is included in the FAQ's and we expect more information on this next week that will hopefully clear up some of the conflicts for the older girls in the Midwest Conference.

Please see this link for the FAQ's from the National League website and pass this on to your teams that may send you questions
