Two Teams Representing PA West at National Presidents Cup

Friday, July 12, 2024, kicks off the 2024 rendition of the National Presidents Cup from Wichita, Kansas! Boys and girls between age groups ranging from 13U-19U will battle over the course of four days, hoping to be crowned National Presidents Cup Champions.

Beadling 2011 Girls West will represent PA West in the 13U Girls bracket, as well as Century United Girls 2010 Red in the 14U bracket.

The Beadling girls kick off play Friday night against Montana Surf G2011, followed by another evening match up against BRSC 11 G Black (Louisiana) on Saturday evening, ending group play against Kansas Rush Wichita Academy on Sunday evening.

Century United will square off against MS Rush 10G Premier (Missouri) on Friday evening, followed by an evening kickoff on Saturday against REAL G2010 Gold (Montana), ending group play against Cap City 10 Girls Grey (Michigan) on Sunday evening.

Annual General Meeting Set for August 3

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of PA West Soccer Association will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024.  The meeting will be called to order at 10:00 AM. The location of the Annual General Meeting is set for the ​Marriot Airport in Coraopolis, PA.

The meeting’s agenda will include approval of the 2024-25 budget, consideration of proposed amendments to the Constitution and bylaws of the association, and election of officers.

The officers set for election this year are Vice President-Youth, Treasurer, and two Members At-large.  For more info on these positions please see the Nomination article on page 5.

All youth clubs are required to have a representative in attendance at the AGM.  Proxies are accepted but an individual may only hold a proxy for one club.  Clubs not having a representative at the meeting will be subject to a $300.00 fine.

Referee Program Succeeds at 2024 Eastern Regionals; Two Referees Selected For Nationals

PA West referees had outstanding representation at the 2024 USYS Eastern Regional Championships in Barboursville, West Virginia, with 8 referees representing our league.
