Referee Program Succeeds at 2024 Eastern Regionals; Two Referees Selected For Nationals

PA West referees had outstanding representation at the 2024 USYS Eastern Regional Championships in Barboursville, West Virginia, with 8 referees representing our league.

We would like to show recognition for those who helped with their outstanding efforts and strong showing this past week, along with the two referees that were selected to represent PA West at 2024 USYS Nationals:

Annual General Meeting Set For August 3

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of PA West Soccer Association will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024. The meeting will be called to order at 10:00 AM. The location of the Annual General Meeting is set for the Marriot Airport in Coraopolis, PA.

The meeting’s agenda will include approval of the 2024-25 budget, consideration of proposed amendments to the Constitution and bylaws of the association, and election of officers.

The officers set for election this year are Vice President – Youth, Treasurer, and two Members at-large. For more info on these positions, please see the Nomination article on page 5.

All youth clubs are require to have a representative in attendance at the AGM. Proxies are accepted but an individual may only hold proxy for one club. Clubs not having a representative at the meeting will be subject to a $300.00 fine.
