Q: How do I get a copy of my clearance?
A: Your club registration can print a copy of your admin record from the online registration system. This record shows your risk status and expiration date.
Q: When does the spring / fall playing season begin/end?
A: Typically the spring playing session begins the first weekend in April and the Fall kick-offs the first weekend after Labor Day in September.
Q: My (fill in the blank) would like to become a referee…how do they go about this?
A: Visit the Referee Registration web site at pawest-referees.org. This site is the first step toward registering to become a referee and will provide complete information.
Q: I/my player received a red card, how is mytheir player pass returned?
A: In all our of travel divisions (D4-6) the coach must contact the District Director or designee following the completion of the suspension. The District Director will verify the service of the suspension and authorize the release of the pass back to the team’s coach.
Q: Are players guaranteed a certain amount of playing time?
A: Players in U10 and U12 D5 and D6 are guaranteed 50% playing, except when injury or discipline preempts play. In all other age groups and divisions the players must earn their playing time through performance in training and games.
Q: How do I join an adult soccer team?
A: You’ll find a complete list of Commissioners for each age group offered by our Adult Division. You may contact them. We also post a “Want Ad” page on this web site that provides space for players to advertise their need for team and teams to post the players they’re seeking.
Q: I have an issue with my child’s coach, what do I do?
A: You should talk to your child’s coach. After speaking with the coach if the issue hasn’t been resolved you will need to talk to the coordinator or Board member from your club responsible for the specific part of the club. Only after exhausting all avenues through your club should you contact PA West Soccer.
Q: I’d like to protest a game, what do I do?
A: If you’re a coach follow the procedures outlined in the Youth Playing Rules. If you’re a parent there is nothing you can do directly; you should contact your child’s coach to discuss the issue to determine whether the incident is grounds for a protest.
Q: I’d like to complain about a (coach, referee, parent, fan, etc).
A: If you’re a parent and the individual is from your team/club you should contact your child’s coach and/or club President. If the individual is from the opposing club contact your club President so he/she may contact the other club to discuss the issue.
Q: How do I add guest players to a roster?
A: Contact your club registrar. If your club registrar is unable to help you during the week you can contact Cheryl Mignogna in the State Office or contact the online registration provider’s hotline for assistance. Also keep in mind, there is a user’s manual for our online registration system available for download on the system’s admin page.
Q: How do I print game day rosters?
A: This can be done by the coach once you have set up the user name and password as a coach.

www.pawest-soccer.org , Youth dropdown, select the correct district or division (classic division – do not select the tryout page, just click on the classic division box in the 1
st drop down).

Select boys or girls divisions. This will open another page linked to our on-line registration and scheduling system.

Coach will login. Once logged in, it will open up to his/her info in the system.

Scroll down the page, it will show the team(s) they are affiliated (rostered) with.

Click ‘view schedules/results’ as a hyperlink to the right of the list. This will take the coach to that team’s schedule.

Scroll down to the current week’s game, under the date will be a button “print roster”.

Clicking on the “print roster” button will open up the game day roster for this game. Please Note: this roster is not available until 72 hours before the start of the game and it is mandated for all districts/divisions to use the game day roster in the spring of 2012.
