PA West Boys ODP Coaching Opportunities For 2026 Season

Dear Coaches,

As we prepare for the upcoming PA West Olympic Development Program (ODP) season, I am excited to share that the program continues to grow in size and participation. This growth reflects the strength of soccer development within our state. It also brings the opportunity to expand our coaching staff to ensure that every player receives the attention and guidance they deserve.

We are currently seeking qualified and passionate coaches to join the ODP Boys staff for the 2026 cycle. Our goal is to create a high-level, development-focused environment that identifies and nurtures talented players throughout Pennsylvania West. That mission begins with committed, knowledgeable, and collaborative coaches.

Ideal candidates will possess:

1. Coaching Licenses and Certifications – U.S. Soccer or equivalent credentials appropriate to the age and level of players.

2. Relevant Experience and Background – Demonstrated success working with elite players, a proven track record of player development, and experience identifying and nurturing talent. Prior involvement with regional or state-level programs is a plus.

3. Coaching Philosophy and Approach – Commitment to long-term player development over short-term results; strong communication and motivational skills; a positive, growth-oriented mindset; and dedication to sportsmanship and character development.

4. Player Evaluation and Feedback Skills – Ability to assess players effectively, provide constructive feedback, and clearly explain evaluations in both written and oral form.

5. Team and Program Collaboration – Ability to work well with other coaches, administrators, and parents; willingness to collaborate with regional staff to support player advancement; and a commitment to ongoing coaching education and professional development.

Bonus qualifications include:

1. Previous professional or collegiate playing experience.

2. Experience coaching at the regional or national ODP level or within an elite player development environment.

If you are interested in joining the ODP Boys coaching staff or would like to learn more about available roles, please email me directly at pawestboysodp@gmail.com with a brief summary of your qualifications and experience. Goalkeeper coaches are welcome to submit interest as well.

Thank you for your continued commitment to developing players across PA West. Together, we can continue to raise the standard of play and help every player reach their potential.

Sincerely,

Otto Tancraitor

ODP Boys Director
