Midfielder Yunus Musah was subbed on in the second half for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who facilitated Pulisic with the assist in the first half. AC Milan would go on to throttle Torino 4-1 to move to 2-0 on the Serie A season.

- Norwich City dominated Huddersfield 4-0 behind the attacking prowess of USMNT Forward Josh Sargent. Sargent begins his English Championship campaign with his third goal in three matches for Norwich. Sargent would net the matches first goal by pressing the goalkeeper and finishing a header that was deflected off of the keeper in the 11th minute of the match.
