USMNT Players In Action This Weekend

After some midweek action for UEFA and cup qualifiers, a few of the United States Men’s National Team players will be in action for their respective clubs this weekend.

USMNT star Christian Pulisic, who has had an incredible start to his Serie A campaign, as well as USMNT midfielder Yunas Musah, will head to Rome as AC Milan squares off with AS Roma Friday afternoon.

Juventus and USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie and USMNT forward Timothy Weah will square off with Empoli on Sunday.

Venezia and USMNT’s Tanner Tessman and Gianluca Busio square of against Cittadella Sunday afternoon in Serie B.

After PSV Eindhoven drilled Rangers 5-1 in the second leg of UEFA Champions League qualifiers mid-week, USMNT’s Sergino Dest, Ricardo Peppi, and Malik Tillman face RKC Waalwijk in the Eriedivisie on Sunday.

In the Pro League, center back Mark McKenzie, who was recalled to the USMNT for September’s friendlies against Uzbekistan and Oman, and Genk will face Anderlecht at home on Sunday.

USMNT midfielder and Club America’s Alex Zendejas and Club America have a tough battle against Cruz Azul in Liga MX.

Heading over to England, USMNT Captain and holding midfielder Tyler Adams will be out of action for Bournemouth, as he nurses a hamstring injury. USMNT goalkeepers Matt Turner and Ethan Horvath travel to West London to square off with a struggling Chelsea side. Fulham and USMNT’s Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream will have the toughest test on the weekend, as they will head to Manchester to face off against reigning Premier League Champions, Manchester City.

In the English Championship, Norwich City and USMNT forward Josh Sargent will miss extended time after suffering an ankle injury while scoring a goal in the midweek EFL Cup match against Huddersfield. USMNT and Coventry City forward Haji Right will face Watford on Sunday.

Heading to the Bundesliga, Gio Reyna and Borussia Dortmund will host a huge match against RB Leipzig on Sunday. USMNT right back and Borussia Moenchengladbach will host juggernauts Bayern Munich on Saturday.
