PA West Soccer Statement On Fall Play: Click Here
Clubs located in counties designated "Green" by Governor Wolf may conduct soccer activity.
CDC guidelines for COVID-19 must be followed during the "Green" phase as we continue to battle to limit the spread of the virus.
Gathering size in PA is limited to 250 persons for an outdoor gathering. Indoor gathering size is limited to 25.
PA West Soccer is currently in Phase IV of returning to play.
Phase IV means activity is open to include full-size matches and travel to play soccer beyond county or state lines. Clubs/teams must still follow the state/county/local directives for their county/community regarding mitigation of virus spread (mandatory masks, gathering size limits, etc.).
This does not mean clubs/teams can gather in a manner that is unsafe or in violation of state, county, local directives. All PA West Soccer RTP mandates must be followed and we strongly encourage the adoption of our RTP recommendations.
Current "Green" Counties can resume activity: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clinton, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Fulton, Greene, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Westmoreland.
Current "Yellow" Counties no activity permitted: None listed
PA West Soccer has also created Return to Play Plan to help clubs plan, prepare, and resume play. For printer friendly RTP Plan, click here.
PA West Soccer has also introduced Phased Return To Play Guidelines as we return to Green. For printer friendly version click here.
In addition to our Return To Play Guidelines that addresses individual and playing environment safety, we are introducing Phased Return To Play. This document provides an outline helping clubs their initial return to full activity.
Before attending a game, please review our Required Checklist that applies to you:
PA West Soccer also requires clubs have parents complete and sign a Participation Waiver. This document is an acknowledgement that their child could contract COVID-19 during soccer activities.
