Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Permission To Travel

Travel Outside PA West Soccer  
Friendlies, Tournaments and Other Affiliated Games

The Youth Board has delegated authority to the State Office, State Registrar, or Youth Division President to approve all travel permits/notification for travel outside PA West Soccer's designated geographic boundaries for tournament, exhibitions (friendlies), and any other nationally sanctioned leagues. 

The coach or manager is responsible for securing a travel permit/notification if required prior to leaving the boundaries of PA West Soccer. 

Travel to tournaments hosted by PA West Soccer member clubs or other National State Associations (US Youth Soccer affiliated) require only the PA West Soccer Travel Notification be submitted (see link below), unless the event requires a travel permit. 

Travel to friendlies or exhibition games in Region 1 (except New Jersey and Connecticut) require email notification. 

Travel to participate in tournaments, leagues, friendlies, or exhibition games of other USSF members require permission from the State Office after tournament, league, friendly, or exhibition game rules have been received.  In some cases, travel to these events will not be covered by the PA West Soccer medical or liability insurance.  Teams have a responsibility to make their players and parents aware of non-coverage.

The fee schedule listed below applies to travel permits and notification; travel permits must be submitted for tournaments and friendlies with non-US Youth Soccer affiliated teams, events sanctioned by a US Youth Soccer affiliate that requires a travel permit, and all tournaments and friendlies sanctioned by New Jersey Youth Soccer and Connecticut Junior Youth Soccer.  Please confirm with your destination event (if sanctioned by a State Association) whether there's a travel permit requirement.

Free - received in State Office 21 days or more before the date of the event. 
$10.00 - received in State Office 14-20 days before the date of the event. 
$25.00 - received in the State Office 7-13 days before the date of the event. 
$50.00 - received in the State office less than 7 days before the date of the event.

All fees must be paid by club check, team or personal checks will not be accepted.  Travel permits submission must include:  a completed travel permit, a copy of the traveling team's stickered PA West Soccer roster, approved hosting agreement, and club check (if applicable).

Teams taking Guest Players must submit Player Team Status Form, copy of their US Youth Soccer affiliated player pass as proof of registration, and copy of the team's stickered PA West Soccer roster with those not attending lined out.  After initial travel permit/notification is issued any additional roster changes subject to $15.00 fee.
