Contributions to Coleman for Senate ’08 are subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer for individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
Individuals may contribute up to $2,300 per election (the primary and general elections are separate elections). Couples may contribute up to $4,600 per election.
Corporations, labor organizations, Federal government contractors, and foreign nationals without “green cards” are prohibited from contributing. Contributions made in the name of another are also prohibited.
