Open Tournament Underway
The 2010 PA West Soccer Tournament is here!  This Friday evening teams will kick-off the second weekend of play at 6:00 PM on the Edinboro University campus.  The tournament will feature competition for over 320 travel teams during its two weekend's of play.

This Saturday evening the Riverhounds will play Real Maryland in Sox Harrison Stadium.  Kick-off is set for 8:00 PM for this feature match of the tournament.  For more info visit the Hounds web site at www.riverhounds.com.

2010 Open Tournament Registration Underway
Registration is now open to teams wanting to play in the 2010 Open Tournament.  This year's tournament will be held June 18-20 and 25-27 at Edinboro University (see below for age group/division breakdowns).

PA West Soccer's largest tournament has modified the playing divisions to more closely resemble other tournaments.  While teams will continue to play the same weekends as in previous years, they will now select the color of the division in which they want to play that matches their level of league play (see primer below).  Teams may also play up.  New this year is the Platinum Division of play; it's an open division-any team can enter play including tournament teams, classic teams, and out-of-state teams.

Also new this year is online registration.  The system will include team registration, game tracking, and text or email messaging throughout the tournament.

This year's tournament is  only 400.00 for U11-U19 team and 350.00 for U10 teams if submitted by April 1st.  Housing will again be available on campus.

Open Housing
On campus housing is available in university dormitories.  The university now offers apartment style dorms featuring a small kitchenette and air conditioning.  The cost is 85.00 per person for two nights and five meals in the cafeteria.  To register, complete the Housing Form found on the Forms Page and send it with a check to PA West Soccer, 111 Whitehead Lane, Suite 200, Monroeville, PA  15146.
