| The PA West Adult Leagues
meet a variety of playing needs for the adult soccer player. There
are men’s, women’s and co-ed leagues playing at numerous sites around western
Pennsylvania. Age groups begin at Over-19 and continue through Over-50’s.
Players range from ex-pros to weekend warriors depending on the league
and level of play. Games are typically played on Saturday or Sunday
and most leagues play from late March through early November.
The Greater Pittsburgh Soccer
League (GPSL) is an Over-19 league with approximately 30 teams competing
in two divisions. Games are scheduled for Sunday May through early
August.
The Women’s Greater Pittsburgh
Soccer League (WGPSL) is an Over-19 Women’s league that plays every Sunday
at Turner Valley Soccer Complex in North Huntington Township June through
early August. There are 12 teams in this league.
The Over-30 men have two
leagues from which to choose. There’s the Pittsburgh Soccer League
and the Pittsburgh South Soccer League. Games are played on Saturday
and Sunday at various sites around Western Pennsylvania. The two
leagues play three seasons per year; games aren’t scheduled during the
winter months.
The Pittsburgh Masters Soccer
League has twenty teams in two divisions for the Over-40 player.
Games are played at Turner Valley Soccer Complex in the summer as well
as at various sites around Western Pennsylvania.
Pittsburgh Super Masters
League is a league for Over-50 players. The league currently features
four teams. League play is slated for Sunday at various fields in
Western Pennsylvania.
The Pittsburgh Co-ed League
is an Over-19 league for men and women. Play is scheduled for Sunday
at a variety of locations.
