PA West Soccer Shop 'n Save Adult Soccer Tourney Set For August 2-3
PA West Soccer invites you to enter your team in the 11th annual Pittsburgh Soccer Adult Open to be held on August 2 and 3. It will be a fun filled weekend with an excellent opportunity for both men’s and women’s teams to compete in this challenging tournament. In the past years there were teams representing seven states, three regions, and Canada. Four of these teams were past National Champions, or Runners up.

The tournament features Men's Open , Over 30, Over 40, Over 50, Women’s Open and Coed Open divisions.

The tournament will be held at Turner Valley Soccer Complex in North Huntingdon Twp., PA.
The registration fee is $350.00. Application deadline is July 15th.

Registration Time For Pittsburgh Area Coed Soccer League Second Session
The PACSL’s second session begins July 13. Now’s the time for anyone interested in playing Co-ed Soccer to register, the deadline is June 30.

Just a reminder, the registration process has changed from 2007 due to some changes with the PA West Soccer portion of the registration so please follow the directions closely.

The PA West Soccer and PACSL sections of the registration will be completed via one process, rather than the two separate components during the 2007 season. The total fee will be increased by $10, due to an increase in the PA West Soccer registration fee per person.

The deadline for second session registration needs to be completed and received by Monday June 30, 2008. This means that all forms and payments need to be completed and in the hands of the league organizers to be accepted. Late registrations (anything received after 6/30/08) will not be accepted and information will be returned to you.

Games will be at 4:00 & 5:00 PM, unless circumstances dictate otherwise. The tentative schedule, pending Norwin Soccer Club approval, is as follows:

Second Session Dates: 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31

The following is needed for your entire registration to be completed:
1. Print and complete the PACSL registration form. Please make sure the form is completed in its entirety and that all information is legible. This information will be utilized to complete your registration with PA West Soccer; therefore it is imperative that information can be easily read.
2. Write a check to PACSL for $70.00 (regardless of whether or not you are already registered with PA West).
3. Mail completed PACSL form and check to:

WGPSL Offers Over-23 Division

About the Adult Division...
The PA West Soccer Adult Leagues meet a variety of playing needs for the adult soccer player. There are men's, women's and co-ed leagues playing at numerous sites around western Pennsylvania. Age groups begin at Over-19 and continue through Over-50's. Players range from ex-pros to weekend warriors depending on the league and level of play. Games are typically played on Saturday or Sunday and most leagues play from late March through early November.

The Greater Pittsburgh Soccer League (GPSL) is an Over-19 league with approximately 30 teams competing in two divisions. Games are scheduled for Sunday May through early August.

The Women's Greater Pittsburgh Soccer League (WGPSL) is an Over-19 Women's league that plays every Sunday at Turner Valley Soccer Complex in North Huntington Township June through early August. This league has grown to 14 teams.

The Over-30 men play in the West Penn Adult Soccer Association. Games are played on Saturday and Sunday at various sites around western Pennsylvania. The league plays three seasons per year; only taking a break during the winter months.

The Pittsburgh Masters Soccer League has over twenty teams in three divisions for the Over-40 player. Games are played around western Pennsylvania.

Pittsburgh Super Masters League is a league for Over-50 players. The league currently features four teams. League play is slated for Sunday at various fields in western Pennsylvania.

The Pittsburgh Co-ed League is an Over-19 league for men and women. Play is scheduled for Sunday at a variety of locations.
